Lee Thompson’s play ‘Somebody, Somewhere‘ previewed at the New Live Theatre Showcase Evening on 26th July 2012 and was Directed by Chloe Lang. After a vote, the audience chose Somebody, Somewhere as their favourite preview of the night.

ABOUT LEE THOMPSON:

Lee Thompson is a playwright based in Liverpool currently part of the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Young Writers group. With the group he has developed his first full length play, Somebody Somewhere.  In 2011 Lee’s short play ‘Waiting’ received a performance by Made from Scratch Theatre at the Lost Theatre in Wandsworth. In the same year, another short play ‘Made of Secrets’ received a rehearsed reading at the Contact Theatre in Manchester.

Currently, Lee is scheduled to develop a short one act play for the Blank Page Theatre company to be performed in November 2012. He has recently developed pitches for the BBC Writersroom after winning the Ideas Tap Writersroom Brief as well as submitting story pitches for the BBC show Moving On. In 2011 Lee received the Met Film School Screenwriting prize to develop a feature film screenplay.
