12 Week Acting Workshops – ‘Damaged Goods’ Final Show

NEW-DG-POSTERWe have a brand new 12 week drama course beginning 10th January 2016 in Manchester with just a few places remaining.

12 weeks of acting workshops at Manchester Hub Drama which will work towards a final performance. The acting workshops will start Sunday 10th January 2016. As part of the Manchester Hub Drama Company you will get a professional credit performing in ‘Damaged Goods’. You will recieve 12 weeks of training at our office in Manchester City Centre with the acting coaches at Manchester Hub Drama and you will perform in a show at the end of the 12 weeks. That’s 12 weeks of workshops and 1 nights performing – you will perform 2 shows at 7pm & 8.45pm! The show will be performed in the fantastic and intimate Eagle Inn Theatre, attached to the Eagle Inn pub, Salford, on the cusp of Manchester City Centre. The workshops are suitable for adults aged 18-60+ from beginners to intermediate level.

Damaged Goods is a fun yet touching and thought provoking play exploring the highs and lows of mental health and was well received at its first production in 2014. Over the 12 weeks our cast will be guided and directed through the process of developing, writing and rehearsing this exciting piece of theatre alongside practical drama training.

The workshops will run every Sunday 1.30pm-3pm at Manchester Hub Drama on Derby St from Sunday 10th January 2016.

‘Damaged Goods’ will be performed on Monday 28th March at 7pm & 8.45pm. Tickets will be available for friends and family to watch you perform alongside our invited guest agents and local theatre-makers.

Spook Manor is a brand new comedy-thriller coming to Manchester 26-27th October 2015, written by Paul Kenney and Nicola Radin and Directed by Stevie Helps and Paul Kenney. The show will perform at the intimate Eagle Inn Theatre space, a hidden gem tucked away on the cusp of Manchester City Centre this Halloween.

Join Adult Acting Classes in Manchester this September

Manchester Hub Drama, our training brother company, is now accepting new student Actors aged 18-60+ to begin Acting Classes in Manchester this September. Applications are being accepted from fresh new talent and actors with experience.

Actors from Manchester Hub Drama will be performing in their next Actors Showcase on Sunday 11th October at the Eagle Inn Theatre space with invited guests, across from Blueprint Recording Studios where classes run. Classes run Sunday and Wednesday and Actors from all classes have the option to take part. A fantastic local Acting Agent is booked in to visit Sunday class in a couple of weeks to watch and offer advice to Actors and Actors from the new Wednesday class will have this opportunity in the coming months.

5 Actors from our Acting Classes have recently been cast in a production of ‘Spook Manor’, a dark comedy-thriller play perfect for Halloween, which will show 26-27th October in Manchester.
