Manchester Theatre September 2016 Minds A LabyrinthWhen his wife goes missing, Stuart informs his daughter (Rachel) that she has committed suicide. Elliott first meets Rachel in her local pub, where he finds her alone and drunkenly singing her heart out on a table top to ‘Last Christmas’ – in April… like ‘a young Yoko Ono’. When her father arrives to pull her down, Elliot jumps to defend her. But all is not what it seems. This family must prepare themselves for the consequences of their ill-advised decisions

New Live Theatre Company premièred our latest hard-hitting production ‘Borderline Electra‘ on 21st April 2016, written and directed by our Co-Artistic Director Stevie Helps, at the Hope Mill Theatre Manchester. The excitingly provoking production explores the troubled life and relationships of the central character (Rachel) who suffers with a Borderline Personality Disorder. The play has now been re-titled ‘Mind’s A Labyrinth’.

Mind’s A Labyrinth will also feature live acoustic music from Singer-Songwriter Lizzie Tupman.

NEW: 1 YR Actors Crash Course – Begins 1st May 2016 and will run every Sunday 2pm-3.30pm ‪at the New Live Theatre Company / ‎Manchester‬ Hub Drama HQ office on Derby Street, Manchester.

Manchester-Acting-Course-for-Adults-Drama-Theatre-Stage-Classes

The Actors Crash Course, run via our brother training company, Manchester Hub Drama  (MHDrama) runs over 3 x 12week Terms. Over the course of 3 terms you will attend intensive and intimate weekly acting sessions, building practical skills in Acting for Stage & Screen. Term 1 will cover all the basics of acting including (but not limited to); script analysis, character development, understanding acting styles, attitude for acting, building confidence, actor marketing & branding and more. In Term 2 your training will step up a notch as your new skills are refined and developed to a deeper understanding. In Term 3 you will be prepared for acting in the industry with invited guests in class and mock auditions.
